Memory Lane

My curiosity gets a hold of me sometimes and I end up digging through sites that I have an account in. This time, I've logged back into BlenderArtists.

I found posts I've made about twenty years ago. I don't create new threads very often, if at all. In fact, I only have one thread to my account on that site. It was sharing a tool I found for generating caustics. That site doesn't work anymore...web.archive.org to the rescue! Here is the archived version: https://web.archive.org/web/20060207133200/http://www.lysator.liu.se/~kand/caustics/

Some more poking around revealed the dev have created a pro version with the free version available for non-commercial purposes.

It's interesting to see what I had been up to twenty years ago...even if it makes me feel very unaccomplished since I've grown less and less social over the years.

All that said, I would like to get back into 3D art. I even went to school for it a few years back. Except I came out of it feeling even less qualified to do that sort of thing professionally.

I might be older than most people would want to give a chance but I got to start somewhere.
